Dog Friendly Public Spaces :: Frank Brown Park, Florida

Frank Brown Park also has 1.5 miles of dog-friendly greenways and trails. And it serves as the trailhead for Gayle's Trails, a special project named after Gayle Oberst, the city Mayor and a dog lover. The trailhead beginning at the Children's Pond in the rear of the Park will feature a paved trail with picnic tables and areas, landscaping for shade, bike and vehicle parking areas, restrooms, and a kiosk and small pavilion with trail information and directions. At completion of the first phase of the project, a paved trail will also extend northward to the east west trail that traverses Panama City Beach. Starting from the trailhead in Frank Brown Park will allow travel south to the Gulf and through Aaron Bessant Park, east to the St. Andrews State Park, west to Camp Helen State Park and Walton County, and/or north to Pine Log Forest.
